Steppin’ Up For Nat Inaugural Golf Tournament
Hello Friends,
As many of you know my daughter Natalie was injured in a skiing accident 2 years ago. Nat has been in intensive, exercise based therapy at Project Walk in Carlsbad, CA and is making slow, but incredible progress. Through hard work, Nat has regained what doctors promised would not happen – her ability to walk. But Nat’s path to recovery is a long one, and unfortunately, the therapies that have been helping Nat regain her ability to walk are not covered by insurance.
Participating in the Steppin’ Up For Nat Inaugural Golf Tournament will raise funds to allow Nat to stay on her path to recovery. All proceeds administered will be used solely for Natalie’s recovery.
The Steppin’ Up For Nat Golf Tournament website and online registration is now live! Please go to: www.nataliebuchoz.org when you get a chance and check it out!
Our goal with the website was to make it easy for everyone to register and donate for the Thursday, September 23rd tournament. Online credit card payment has been made secure through Greater Giving. Many different types of sponsorship opportunities are now available by clicking on the sponsor link.
Also, please check out Nat’s new video on the home page of the website as it updates Nat’s progress and helps explain the purpose of the tournament in a very inspiring way.
Our immediate goal now is to fill 36 foursomes and collect items for Natalie’s silent auction. To sign for golf and to donate items simply go to the website for all the info.
Please share this website and information with any person or businesses you feel would be interested in helping Natalie.
We’re very excited about the incoming event and it guarantees to be fun day!
Thank you for support of Natalie and her goal of walking again!

A MESSAGE FROM THE SHB PRESIDENTS |
Yesterday we received a strongly worded complaint from a neighborhood group complaining about the lack of respect our parents are showing to the surrounding streets and homes near our softball fields. This complaint was also sent to the Superintendent of the Huntington Beach School District, which has officially reprimanded us and noted that the use of the SHB fields is a privilege that can be taken away at any time.
While we have emphasized the need to be respectful of the surrounding neighborhood in the past, it bears repeating now.
- Please make use of ALL available parking in the Edison Community Center BEFORE parking on any neighboring street.
- Double parking on Stillwell Drive for any reason (player drop offs/pick-ups) is STRICTLY prohibited
- Please watch your speed on all surrounding neighborhood streets
- Please make certain no car is parked in front of any part of any drive way or crosswalk
- You WILL NOT bang the dirt from your cleats, empty the dust from your car, or leave sun flower seeds on ANY street
Should we determine that self-policing is not working, we may be forced to limit all parking to the ECC parking lot and available parking on Magnolia and Hamilton. Let's stop that from happening by taking control now.
Thank you
Glenn & Barry |
